UNITARIAN COMMUNICATIONS CO-ORDINATORS NETWORK (UCCN) *
The Network is free to join and has the following aims:

  • To be a Network of Communication Co-ordinators within the movement to exchange information, skills and resources.
  • To give each other advice, support and encouragement.
  • To provide active support for the GA Information Department (e.g. feedback on current projects).
  • To improve the profile of publicity and communication work within the movement. UCCN organises occasional weekend conferences and networkers communicate by means of the email discussion list, UCCN-L.

SPIRITUALITY


UNITARIAN CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION (UCA)
Aims to preserve and strengthen the Christian tradition within the Unitarian movement. Activities: Quarterly magazine, periodic conferences and retreats. The "Unitarian Christian Herald" is published quarterly.

UNITARIAN EARTH SPIRIT NETWORK (UESN)*
A Unitarian Network of friends and fellow seekers who are linked through a collaborative File (a selection of loose-leaf pages within a cover), which comes out four times a year, coinciding with the seasons. Through sharing our insights and beliefs we aim to restore, inspire and encourage one another by:

  • Revering the totality of the divine reality of nature being revealed to us through diverse forms;
  • evolving creative ways to worship for body, mind and spirit;
  • affirming a pagan spiritual perspective as being fully compatible with our quest for self-knowledge and ultimate meaning;
  • encouraging practical action on social issues related to a nature-centred faith / philosophy.

UESN organises annual weekend conferences and we meet together at General Assembly meetings.

THE MEDITATIONAL FELLOWSHIP (TMF) *
Aims to promote the practice of meditation as an individual discipline, emphasising the relevance of meditation to daily living, and its value as a practice promoting personal growth and social harmony. Holds three residential weekends a year.

FOY SOCIETY (FOY)
A fellowship of men and women who in a spirit of free enquiry seek to understand the nature of present issues and problems - political, religious or social. FOY organises an annual conference and produces a Newsletter.

UNITARIAN AND FREE CHRISTIAN PEACE FELLOWSHIP (UPF)
Founded in 1916, it is a fellowship within the denomination of those who witness to the belief that war and preparations for war are sins against God and failures of humanity; and believe that right relationships can only be established through understanding and love.

Members pledge themselves to the promotion of goodwill, justice and peace between people and nations and are supported in their individual work and witness for peace by the network that exists in the denomination. Information is disseminated via the quarterly newsletter.

The UPF sponsors an annual Lent Appeal on behalf of peace-related projects, and organises a Peace Vigil and Peace Vespers at the General Assembly Meetings.

YOUNG ADULTS


BUYAN - The British Isles Unitarian Young Adult Network *
This is a network of Unitarian young adults aged 18 to 35 who aim to create community through a variety of spiritual and social activities. BUYAN members meet together a few times a year for conferences and workshops around the country. Recent themes have included Buddhist meditation, a workshop on developing a spiritual practice and a workshop on the voice and singing. BUYAN, which was founded in 2005, also offers opportunities to attend international conferences.
