The Society founded in 1915 encourages and supports the study of Unitarian history and that of its constituent and related traditions - English Presbyterian, General Baptist, Universalist, Methodist Unitarian, Non-Subscribing Presbyterian (Ireland), Unitarian-Universalist.
The Society's main activity is the publishing of annual Transactions in April. There is an annual meeting and lecture at various British locations during the annual meetings of the General Assembly of Unitarian and Free Christian Churches. Any research enquiries about Unitarian history should be sent by e-mail to the Secretary below.
Membership
Subscription rates are:
individuals £7.00
institutions £13.50
Payment of subscription for non-Sterling currency covering, for example, more than one year should be arranged with the Treasurer.
- Members receive Transactions (ISSN 0082-7800) free.
- Subscriptions may be paid by bankers order. Please ask the Treasurer for a form.
- United Kingdom Tax Payers may covenant their subscriptions.
- Cheques should be made payable to "The Unitarian Historical Society".
