‘Engagement Groups – transforming congregations through small groups‘
Wednesday 26 May, 7:30 pm, via Zoom

In the second of our series of “Congregations in the Community”, hear how Engagement Groups are changing the spiritual landscape of Unitarianism in the UK.
These small groups embody the best of our shared values by carefully creating safer, softer, kinder spaces where we can connect more deeply and authentically with others. They are founded on just a few simple principles which help us to come together in right relationship and deepen our spiritual sharing.
Jane Blackall will reflect on ‘Heart and Soul’ circles, a contemplative gathering based on Engagement Group principles, as a case study. She will offer practical suggestions on how to start groups of your own which are tailored to the particular needs of the community you are hoping to serve (be that local, congregational, or brought together across a wider area by a special interest or identity).
