Findhorn Unitarian Network Meditation for October – body awareness
You are invited to join us for meditation on Saturday 23 October at 10am or Tuesday 26 October at 9:30 am. This month will be a Body Awareness Meditation led by Rev Sarah Tinker, recently retired Minister of Kensington Unitarians and member of FUN. Sarah will explain how we can use simple body awareness techniques to help us stay focused and awake in our lives, as well as in our meditation. We’ll practice following the breath and scanning our whole bodies – the loved and unloved parts, areas of distress and delight, remembering the value of acceptance and the healing power of the breath.
The Zoom invitation goes out the day before the session. Feel free to spread the word – beginners and non-Unitarians are welcome.
