LGBT+ activist, local politician and Unitarian lay leader Ed Fordham talks to the Derby Telegraph about the campaign for equal marriage, his own Unitarian wedding, and how the struggle for LGBT+ equality continues.

“I think local government is a place where you really can get things done and really change the lives of people. Me being here makes it legitimate for other people to stand up and be counted, plus I can open the door for other leading politicians to see inside my amazing community.”
